Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

The Supply Planning Specialist is responsible for executing the production plan and guaranteeing the availability of finished goods and raw materials according to sales forecasts. This role works closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor the production plan for assigned plants, ensuring alignment with the national master schedule.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimise downtime by scheduling maintenance and interventions.
• Maintain accurate production plan entries in SAP and run MRP to control raw‑material inventories.
• Act as MRP controller, generate requisitions, and monitor stock levels against predefined thresholds.
• Liaise with suppliers, purchase, and warehouse to secure timely raw‑material deliveries.
• Update master data for MRP (max/min inventories, safety stocks) and ensure BOMs are current.
• Collaborate with head‑office planning to align SKU availability with territory forecasts and manage stock transfers.
• Track KPI’s such as raw‑material yields, SLE, and cost, delivering daily, monthly and yearly reports.
• Reconcile data from SAP, BASIS and Excel to guarantee reporting accuracy.
• Support sales initiatives by managing promotions, price offs and discounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to monitor and optimise inventory levels.
• Excellent coordination skills to work across production, procurement and logistics functions.
