Tax Officer – Income Tax & Sales Tax Specialist

About the role
We are looking for a diligent Tax Officer to manage income tax and sales tax compliance for our organization. The role involves preparing returns, maintaining records, and supporting audit activities while staying current with tax legislation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and file income tax and sales tax returns accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) tax laws and regulations.
- Maintain organized tax records and supporting documentation.
- Assist in tax audits and respond to tax notices promptly.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary tax information.
- Monitor updates to tax legislation and implement necessary changes.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant tax experience.
- Good knowledge of the FBR portal and applicable tax regulations.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Familiarity with the FBR portal for tax filing.
