Technical Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Assistant to support the delivery, installation, maintenance, and day‑to‑day technical coordination of technology solutions for our clients in Islamabad. You will work closely with senior engineers to ensure smooth deployment and reliable operation of IT equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with installation, configuration, testing, and basic troubleshooting of computers, networking equipment, peripherals, and related hardware.
• Provide first‑line technical support to users and escalate complex hardware, software, or connectivity issues when required.
• Prepare equipment, maintain asset and service records, and document completed technical activities.
• Support preventive maintenance, diagnostics, replacements, and warranty‑related coordination.
• Help senior engineers with site assessments, solution deployment, demonstrations, and client support activities.
• Follow company procedures for safety, data handling, and service quality.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, peripherals, and device configuration.
• Understanding of LAN concepts, network devices, cabling, and connectivity checks.
• Ability to diagnose basic hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues using a structured approach.
• Hands‑on ability to install, replace, configure, and test IT equipment under supervision.
• Accurate documentation of assets, service activities, test results, and issue resolutions.
• Strong communication, customer service, teamwork, time‑management, and willingness to learn.
