Assistant Manager, Advocacy & Communications

About the role

Punjab Skills Development Fund is hiring an Assistant Manager, Advocacy & Communications in Lahore. The role supports the design, implementation and monitoring of public awareness, behaviour-change and development-sector advocacy initiatives that advance the organisation's strategic priorities. It translates development objectives into evidence-based advocacy campaigns, engages stakeholders, develops targeted communication interventions and monitors their effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run behaviour change communication (BCC) interventions and public awareness initiatives, adapting messages to audience needs and channels
• Develop communication plans, key messages and campaign materials, and coordinate their delivery through media, digital channels, events and stakeholder networks
• Monitor audience engagement and feedback, and use insights to improve future campaigns
• Translate priorities into advocacy messages and plans, and engage government institutions, development partners, civil society, community representatives and private-sector actors
• Prepare advocacy briefs, position papers, policy messages, presentations and fact sheets, and track commitments and progress
• Coordinate advocacy dialogues, consultations, roundtables and coalition-building, and monitor policy developments and emerging issues
• Work with creative agencies, media partners and PR offices (including DGPR) to produce and place approved communications, and track media coverage
• Plan and run public awareness events and activations, manage event branding and collateral, and arrange photography and videography
• Manage departmental budgets, purchase requisitions via SAP, and maintain accurate records of expenditures and approvals
• Set campaign indicators, collect baseline and post-campaign data, and report on performance and lessons learned
