Building Management System (BMS) Operator

About the role

The Building Management System (BMS) Operator ensures continuous, efficient operation of the building’s HVAC and related services, monitoring environmental conditions and responding to alarms to maintain optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the BMS and all connected services, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VAV units, pumps, cooling towers and ventilation systems.
• Track temperature, humidity, pressure and flow parameters, adjusting equipment as needed to meet set points.
• Respond promptly to BMS alarms and equipment faults, logging all events and trends.
• Collaborate with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and maintenance teams to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Support preventive maintenance schedules and assist technicians with troubleshooting BMS‑controlled devices.
• Oversee integrated systems such as fire alarms, access control and lighting control where applicable.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Approximately 23 years of relevant experience operating BMS and HVAC systems.
• Strong commitment to safety, operational excellence and accurate record‑keeping.
