Chief Strategy Officer

About the role

The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) will own and steer the National Digital Masterplan, ensuring it remains forward‑looking, measurable, and aligned with national priorities. This high‑visibility position works across ministries, regulators and private partners to shape the country’s digital future.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of the National Digital Masterplan, from formulation to continuous refresh.
• Lead national‑level strategic planning, coordinating with ministries, regulators and private sector stakeholders.
• Direct research and development of digital policies that support the Masterplan’s objectives.
• Head the foresight function, analysing global trends to keep the Masterplan future‑proof.
• Design and implement a national monitoring‑and‑evaluation framework to track progress and impact.
• Drive high‑impact, cross‑sector digital initiatives in partnership with government and industry.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Economics or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in top‑tier strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or national economic/digital planning.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing national‑level strategies or large‑scale transformation projects.
• Deep expertise in the digital and technology sectors.
