Field Service Engineer – Customer Care (Islamabad)

About the role

Roche is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to join its Customer Care team in Islamabad. You will work directly with customers, providing technical expertise for cutting‑edge laboratory instruments throughout the pre‑ and post‑sales lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support pre‑sales and post‑sales activities with technical expertise in the core lab customer area.
• Perform on‑site installations, urgent repairs, and preventive maintenance of instruments.
• Advise customers and colleagues on optimal use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Implement instruments at customer sites and deliver comprehensive training.
• Provide remote phone support and on‑site troubleshooting.
• Decontaminate, pack, and return instruments or parts according to Roche procedures.
• Handle technical complaints efficiently and with care.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized Pakistani university.
• Hands‑on experience with instruments used in research, clinical, or hospital laboratories.
• Organised, methodical with strong planning and prioritisation skills.
• Flexible, willing to travel and work unsociable or irregular hours.
• Fluent in English and Urdu.
