Finance & Accounts Officer

About the role

Rijas Enterprises is looking for a highly organized Finance & Accounts Officer to manage day‑to‑day financial operations. The successful candidate will ensure accurate record‑keeping, monitor cash flow, and deliver timely financial insights that support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily financial transactions in QuickBooks and reconcile journal entries.
• Manage company expense cards, petty cash, and travel expenses.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Monitor Accounts Receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and safeguard cash flow.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management.
• Perform bank reconciliations and produce accurate financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of proven experience in finance and accounting.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA) preferred or part‑qualified.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks (mandatory).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
