Financial Accountant – Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Financial Accountant to join our finance team on a night shift. The role involves managing core financial accounting, reporting, payroll, budgeting and forecasting to support the organization’s financial integrity and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes, managing general ledger accounts, journals, accruals, provisions and reconciliations.
• Oversee account reconciliations, including bank accounts, balance‑sheet accounts and subsidiary ledgers.
• Manage payroll operations for local and selected international employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support budget preparation, forecasting and rolling forecasts, analysing variances and providing actionable insights.

Required profile

• Graduate in Commerce, Accounting or Finance (BBA, BCom or equivalent).
• CA qualified or CA finalist with completed articles, or ACCA part‑qualified/qualified.
• 4–6 years of practical experience in accounting, financial reporting or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, local tax and accounting regulations and corporate compliance.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar.
• Advanced Excel skills – formulas, pivot tables, dashboards and basic financial modelling.
• Knowledge of IFRS standards.
