Professor of Computing (Remote)

About the role

Riphah International University is seeking a highly qualified Professor of Computing to join its faculty on a remote basis. The role involves leading curriculum development, conducting high‑quality research, and mentoring both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The successful candidate will help elevate the university’s computing programs and research output.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver computing course curricula aligned with academic standards and industry trends.
• Conduct original research and publish articles in Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized journals.
• Mentor and guide students on academic projects, research activities, and career development.
• Participate in curriculum review, departmental committees, and university‑level governance.
• Collaborate with faculty and external partners to foster interdisciplinary research and academic partnerships.
• Prepare grant proposals and seek funding to support research initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and quality assurance standards.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a computing‑related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of teaching experience or at least 10 years of post‑Ph.D. experience.
• Demonstrated record of at least 15 publications in HEC‑recognized journals, including 5‑7 recent articles.
• Strong background in curriculum development, research methodology, and academic writing.
