Project Engineer

About the role

Avery Dennison is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of new facility projects within its manufacturing network. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure projects meet timeline, budget, and quality targets while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive engineering project plans, including schedules and budgets.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, quality assurance, and logistics to align project tasks.
• Manage the full lifecycle of new facility projects from design through construction.
• Track milestones, maintain documentation, and report progress to regional and site leadership.
• Ensure compliance with laws, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Identify risks early, communicate them, and support mitigation actions.
• Serve as primary contact for internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Oversee vendor activities, procurement support, contract adherence, and supplier performance.
• Monitor KPIs such as schedule adherence, budget control, and quality outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, preferably in regulated factories.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, fire safety, and LOTO procedures.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Ability to read and interpret machine manuals and technical specifications.
