SAP Technical Architect – S/4HANA & BTP (RISE with SAP)

About the role

The SAP Technical Architect will lead the technical architecture, development, integration and performance of SAP S/4HANA and related platforms at National Foods Limited. The role ensures stability, scalability and cost‑effective use of RISE with SAP services while driving innovation through the SAP Business Technology Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and govern technical architecture for SAP S/4HANA (on‑premise or cloud) and SAP BTP extensions.
• Manage RISE with SAP services, licensing compliance and cost optimisation.
• Oversee ABAP on HANA development, CDS Views, OData services, and Fiori/UI5 enhancements.
• Design and maintain integrations using SAP CPI, API Management, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs and Event Mesh.
• Handle BASIS operations: system monitoring, transports, security, patching, backups and upgrade planning.
• Promote adoption of AI/ML, IoT and advanced analytics within the BTP ecosystem.
• Lead the SAP CoE, mentor technical staff and coordinate with offshore teams and vendors.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SAP technical architecture and development projects.
• Strong knowledge of RISE with SAP licensing and subscription management.
• Hands‑on expertise in ABAP on HANA, CDS, OData and Fiori/UI5.
• Experience with SAP integration tools (CPI, API Management, IDocs, BAPIs, RFC, Event Mesh).
• Solid understanding of BASIS administration, security and disaster‑recovery practices.
• Ability to drive innovation using SAP BTP services such as AI/ML, IoT and analytics.
