Senior Java Software Engineer (Java & AWS)

About the role

Systems Limited is seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality cloud‑native applications. The role focuses on Java, Spring Boot, and Amazon AWS/GCP services, supporting both new development and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Drive continuous integration, delivery, and cloud migration initiatives.
• Participate in SCRUM teams, contributing to design, development, and peer code reviews.
• Manage defect tracking, source control, and release processes to ensure reliable software releases.
• Develop and maintain RESTful microservices using Java Spring Boot.
• Support production environments, including build, release, and deployment to cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define high‑level software strategies.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java Spring Boot framework.
• Hands‑on experience with Amazon AWS or Google Cloud Platform services.
• Familiarity with backend databases such as Spanner, NoSQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
