Specialist ROW & Logistics Support

About the role

The Specialist ROW & Logistics Support will lead end-to-end fiber deployment projects in Karachi, handling Right of Way (ROW) acquisition, NOC management and logistics coordination. Reporting to the Manager – Transport FOO & Rollout, the role ensures timely approvals from government bodies, municipalities and private stakeholders while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute fiber rollout activities including surveys, design, trenching, laying, splicing, testing and commissioning.
• Monitor contractor performance, field execution quality and project milestones, providing regular status reports.
• Obtain ROW permissions and NOCs from authorities such as municipal, cantonment, highway and utility agencies.
• Maintain relationships with external stakeholders and resolve site access issues or disputes.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and HSE requirements before and during execution.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and subcontractors to meet project timelines.
• Report, analyse and manage events through the Network Management & Monitoring System.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Telecom, Electrical or Civil) or B‑Tech.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fiber deployment, ROW acquisition or NOC management.
• Proven experience with large‑scale FTTS, FTTH, OTN backbone or metro/LDI fiber projects.
