Technical Lead – Control & Automation

About the role

Avanceon is seeking a Technical Lead to drive international automation projects. You will head a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and implement cutting‑edge control and automation solutions across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and technical experts in delivering control and automation projects.
• Define project goals, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with cross‑functional teams and clients.
• Provide technical direction, mentorship, and skill development for team members.
• Design, configure, integrate, and implement process control solutions, including PLC, DCS, and HMI software.
• Develop P&IDs, loop descriptions, user requirement specifications, and hardware/software design documents.
• Specify and procure instrumentation, PLCs, DCSs, drives, and related electrical components.
• Prepare electrical and control panel schematics and scope‑of‑supply documents.
• Conduct reviews, quality checks, and validation/testing protocols to ensure system integrity.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and on‑site installation, testing, and start‑up activities.
• Train operators and engineers on the installed control systems.

Required profile

• B.E. in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or a related field.
• 7–8 years of hands‑on experience as an Automation Engineer or Lead Engineer delivering process control solutions.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Solid understanding of process manufacturing and field instrumentation.
