Production Officer

About the role

You will supervise and optimise packaging and production activities to meet quality, safety and delivery targets. Working closely with production teams, quality, engineering and planning, you will drive continuous improvement in a modern manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily packaging and filling operations to meet production plans and KPIs.
• Manage batch documentation, including preparation, checking, reconciliation and timely submission.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Coordinate resources and workforce allocation to meet planned workload.
• Lead line‑level problem solving, report issues and coordinate maintenance with engineering.
• Train and coach team members on standard operating procedures and safe work practices.

Required profile

• Pharm‑D degree.
• 2‑3 years experience in production, packaging or manufacturing within a GMP‑regulated environment.
• Fluent in English and Urdu.
• Ability to manage production documentation and reconcile batch records.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality systems such as deviation handling, change control and audit actions.
• Experience with EHS risk assessment and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Basic problem‑solving tools and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
