Trainee Engineer – Automation (Lahore)

About the role

INTECH Automation Intelligence is looking for a motivated Trainee Engineer to join its Lahore team. You will receive structured training and hands‑on experience in industrial automation, supporting projects in oil & gas, petrochemicals, utilities and renewable energy.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with installation, testing, commissioning, startup and troubleshooting of PLC, SCADA, DCS, SIS and Fire & Gas systems.
• Support site surveys, technical assessments and data collection, and help prepare engineering documents such as P&IDs, functional specifications and control narratives.
• Participate in monitoring project schedules, site progress and technical deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Fresh graduate (0‑1 year experience) with a basic understanding of industrial automation and strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, work in a fast‑paced environment and adhere to HSE safety standards.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with DCS, SIS and Fire & Gas safety systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings such as P&IDs and control diagrams.
