Weaving Quality Control Specialist

About the role

Crescent Bahuman Limited is seeking a Weaving Quality Control Specialist to ensure the highest standards of fabric quality throughout the weaving process. The role involves conducting inspections, testing yarn performance, and leading a team of ten quality control professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed specification checks on newly produced fabrics to confirm compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor warp contraction and weft consumption to optimise fabric quality and resource use.
• Conduct daily inspections of woven fabric to detect defects early.
• Test yarn performance at looms, assessing strength, durability and suitability.
• Identify, categorise and document weaving defects.
• Report mechanical, electrical and production issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Lead inline quality audits on all running looms.
• Supervise and mentor a team of 10 quality control personnel.
• Maintain accurate quality records and prepare summary reports.
• Collaborate with weaving, maintenance and production departments for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in weaving quality control or a similar textile role.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a small team.
• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality assurance protocols in a manufacturing environment.
