Lead Proposals – Mechanical Engineer (Oil & Gas Turnarounds)

About the role

Industrial Services Pakistan is seeking a dynamic Lead Proposals professional to head bid and contractual activities for shutdown and retrofit projects in the oil & gas sector. The role is based at the head office in Lahore and requires a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with deep expertise in turnarounds.

Key responsibilities

• Review Invitation to Bid (ITB) and contractual documents to identify obligations and risk factors.
• Analyse and validate technical and commercial proposals to ensure accuracy and viability.
• Examine technical documents such as project schedules, organization charts, resource deployments, and method statements.
• Assess commercial documents including bid packages and client price schedules.
• Guide pre‑mobilisation activities and plan for smooth project commencement.
• Manage project cost and financial performance, ensuring budget adherence and cost control.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to facilitate communication and project progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• 10‑12 years of experience in proposals, bids, and estimation for turnarounds or brownfield projects within the oil, gas, or fertilizer industries.
• Proven track record of managing shutdowns, turnarounds, and retrofit projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
