Assistant Manager – Sea Freight Export Operations

About the role

The TAQ Organization is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead its Sea Freight Export operations in Lahore. You will oversee the full shipment cycle, coordinate with shipping lines, suppliers and foreign agents, and ensure compliance with export regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end sea freight export shipments, guaranteeing timely and accurate execution.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, suppliers, foreign agents and internal stakeholders for smooth processes.
• Handle carrier bookings, issue Cargo Release Orders (CRO) and submit Shipping Instructions (SI) promptly.
• Lead a team of four, monitor operational KPIs and drive continuous improvements.
• Maintain strict adherence to SOPs, export documentation and customs regulations.
• Utilize cargo booking and freight management software to optimise logistics planning.
• Resolve customer complaints proactively and support vendor relationship management.
