Electrical Systems Specialist – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Electrical Systems Specialist on a contract basis to support field operations for a global engineering services leader. The specialist will diagnose, maintain, and upgrade electrical installations across industrial and commercial sites while ensuring strict safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections and diagnostics of electrical systems to identify malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades or repairs.
• Ensure all work follows NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local electrical safety regulations.
• Document findings, maintenance logs, and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical system diagnostics and field operations within industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays.
• Strong attention to safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local electrical safety regulations.
• Hands‑on use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal imagers.
