Engineering Manager (Technical)

About the role

We require a candidate with experience as a Technical/Engineering Manager to lead our technical service, installation, commissioning and maintenance activities for industrial packaging and automation equipment. The position demands a technically strong, hands‑on engineering professional capable of managing field service teams, coordinating customer‑site activities and taking ownership of successful installation and after‑sales support of machinery supplied by the company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise technical maintenance activities and teams deployed at customer plants.
• Plan and lead the installation, commissioning and handover of packaging machines, complete lines, industrial robots, automation systems and material‑handling equipment.
• Manage the service team and field technicians, allocating manpower and scheduling customer‑site activities.
• Ensure timely intervention and resolution of breakdowns, maintenance requests and technical support requirements.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, manage spare‑parts inventory and liaise with customers, equipment manufacturers and overseas technical teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong practical experience in industrial machinery installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing technicians, engineers or field‑service teams.
• Ability to read technical drawings, electrical diagrams, equipment manuals and machine documentation.
• Willingness to travel across Pakistan to customer plants.
