Electrical Systems Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Electrical Systems Specialist to support a global engineering services leader. The contractor will manage installations, upgrades, and repairs of electrical systems across multiple industrial and commercial sites, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections and diagnostics to identify system malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute field operations for upgrades or repairs.
• Ensure all work follows NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local electrical safety regulations.
• Document technical findings, maintenance logs, and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical system diagnostics and field operations within industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays.
• Strong attention to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Electrical system diagnostics
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA safety regulations
• Use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal imagers
