Finishing Area Supervisor

About the role

The Finishing Area Supervisor will lead the finishing operations of a pharmaceutical manufacturing site, ensuring that daily production targets are met while maintaining strict compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the finishing area, planning, organizing, training and monitoring all activities in line with EQDs, AQs policies, local regulations, cGMP, EHS and security requirements.
• Execute finishing operations according to SOPs, maintain accurate batch records, equipment logs and housekeeping logbooks.
• Manage the workforce, drive continuous improvement, reduce non‑value‑added activities, scrap, rework and shrinkage, and increase yields.
• Provide data for KPI measurement, support root‑cause analysis and incorporate OEE/IOE data of blister and bottle machines into the system.
• Ensure products are packed in a controlled environment and that all company and local compliance standards are upheld.
• Maintain a positive employee‑relations atmosphere and perform any additional tasks assigned by the Production Manager.

Required profile

• Science graduate (BSc/MSc) – preferably a Pharm D.
• Fresh graduate or 1‑2 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong teamwork and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
