Industrial Chiller Operator (Karachi)

About the role

Fulcrum Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Industrial Chiller Operator to manage and maintain chiller and cooling‑tower systems at its site near Orangi Town, Karachi. The role involves day‑to‑day operation, routine inspections and supervision of a small team to ensure reliable temperature control.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor industrial chiller systems and cooling towers to maintain optimal temperature.
• Conduct regular inspections, diagnose faults and perform preventive maintenance.
• Repair and troubleshoot refrigeration and cooling equipment to minimise downtime.
• Supervise one junior staff member, providing technical guidance and enforcing safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed logs of equipment performance, maintenance activities and incidents.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for scheduled and emergency repairs.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new chiller units or upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of hands‑on experience operating industrial chillers and cooling towers.
• Strong knowledge of the refrigeration cycle and energy‑optimization practices.
• Ability to supervise a small team and communicate effectively with maintenance personnel.
• Commitment to safety, environmental standards and accurate record‑keeping.
