About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Specialist to join a global engineering services leader on a remote contract basis. The role focuses on designing and optimizing mechanical systems for production environments, ensuring reliability and high performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools.
• Run finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations.
• Create detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Conduct tolerance analysis and verify compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot existing mechanical systems and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical design for production equipment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
