Project Operations & Finance Analyst – Rule of Law Programme

About the role

The Project Operations and Finance Analyst will support the UNDP Rule of Law Programme in Pakistan by providing financial management, operational coordination and administrative assistance. The role ensures that programme resources are planned, monitored and reported in line with UNDP policies and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and consolidate programme budgets, workplans and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget availability, utilisation and cash‑flow, identifying gaps or variances.
• Analyse financial implications of implementation decisions and provide timely advice to management.
• Maintain audit‑ready records, support internal controls, risk management and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in financial planning, budgeting and reporting for development programmes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and support decision‑making.
• Familiarity with UNDP rules, donor requirements and results‑based budgeting.
