QuickBooks Supervisor - US Tax & Accounting

About the role

An agile company providing virtual support for software, tax, accounting and financial systems, serving US-based clients in healthcare and technology, is looking for a QuickBooks supervisor. The role combines US individual and business tax returns with accounting activities, working with team members in the US and Pakistan.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely US individual and business tax returns, and handle accounting activities alongside tax.
• Provide superior and responsive professional services to clients using multiple cloud-based tax and accounting software.
• Work closely with team members in the US and Pakistan.
• Assist with tax research to keep up with changes in tax laws and their impact on the organization.
• Support process improvement initiatives that streamline procedures through automation.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations and keep accurate records of tax-related transactions.

Required profile

• ACCA/CA qualified or partially qualified; previous US taxation experience required.
• Previous manager and supervisory role mandatory.
• Previous financial reporting experience required.
• 4+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• Must work during USA business hours, which will be a night-time job.

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• High computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize daily, weekly and monthly goals, and meet deadlines.
• Detailed orientation and accuracy, with strong organizational skills.
