Cashier - PostEx

About the role

PostEx, a fintech and logistics company providing integrated financial and logistics solutions, is hiring a Cashier in Lahore. The postholder manages daily cash transactions and financial activities at the branch, including cash collections, COD (Cash on Delivery) transactions, cash disbursements, daily cash reconciliation and accurate financial records, in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash receipts, collections and disbursements at the branch.
• Handle COD collections and related cash transactions accurately.
• Receive, verify and record cash deposited by riders, couriers and other operational staff.
• Maintain accurate records of all cash inflows and outflows in the company's system.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation so that physical cash matches system records.
• Prepare daily cash closing reports for the Branch Manager and Finance Department.
• Ensure timely deposits of collected cash into the company bank accounts.
• Verify transaction details, receipts and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Report cash discrepancies, shortages, excesses or suspicious transactions immediately.
• Maintain documentation of cash transactions, vouchers, receipts and financial records.
• Coordinate with the Finance Department and Branch Operations team on cash matters.
• Keep branch cash and financial documents secure and follow internal controls.

Required profile

• Intermediate or Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in cashiering, cash handling or branch financial operations.
• Experience in logistics, courier, retail, banking or financial services preferred.
• Basic understanding of cash management, reconciliation and financial documentation.
