Senior Executive Engineer – Proposals (Karachi)

About the role

Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Senior Executive Engineer to lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for protection, automation, and switchgear solutions. You will work closely with sales, engineering, procurement and project teams to deliver optimized proposals for customers in Pakistan and export markets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for MV and LV switchgear, protection & automation solutions.
• Review RFQs, tender documents, specifications and drawings to identify project requirements.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to gather inputs and develop cost estimates, compliance matrices and presentations.
• Design optimized technical solutions that give Siemens a competitive edge.
• Maintain proposal records, support bid submissions and improve proposal processes.
• Support stakeholders from sales phase through hand‑over to the project execution team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in switchgear proposals, protection & automation solutions.
• Strong knowledge of medium and low voltage systems, protection schemes and digital relays.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Fluency in English and ability to work in a multicultural team.
