Software Engineer

About the role

NIQ Brandbank is building a next‑generation Product Information Management (PIM) system to acquire, aggregate, normalize and syndicate massive amounts of product data. As a Software Engineer you will join a product development team working on cutting‑edge technologies to solve high‑availability, scalability and performance challenges in a distributed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain core Java services using Spring Framework and micro‑service architecture.
• Implement data pipelines and streaming solutions with Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and integrate APIs, ensuring high‑performance, low‑latency processing.
• Collaborate with front‑end teams using Angular, React and TypeScript/Node.js to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Write unit, component and functional tests and maintain test infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 1 year of commercial software development experience.
• Strong focus on code quality, security and robustness.
• Experience working in agile teams and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
