Strategic Project Lead - PCB & AI Platforms (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Strategic Project Lead to drive end‑to‑end hardware development for PCB and AI platforms. This remote position will coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality prototypes and production‑ready designs for commercial and industrial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, timelines, budgets and resource allocation for PCB and embedded system initiatives.
• Lead collaboration between hardware engineers, firmware developers, mechanical designers and external vendors.
• Oversee PCB layout reviews, signal‑integrity analysis, component selection and manufacturability optimization.
• Monitor key performance indicators, manage risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Present technical and business updates to senior leadership and secure necessary approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of PCB design and embedded systems experience, including at least 3 years in a project‑lead or management role.
• Proven ability to lead remote, cross‑functional teams and deliver projects on schedule and budget.

Required skills

• PCB design tools: Altium Designer, KiCad, Cadence Allegro.
• Embedded firmware development in C/C++ and debugging with JTAG or logic analyzers.
• Standards: IPC‑2221, IPC‑A‑610, UL certification processes.
• Expertise in signal integrity, power integrity and thermal management.
• Version control (Git) and hardware documentation tools (Confluence, Jira).
• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and supply‑chain coordination.
