Web Developer / Social Media Handler

About the role

Global Tech Solutions is looking for a Web Developer / Social Media Handler to maintain and enhance its corporate and client websites while managing the company’s social media presence. The role blends front‑end development tasks with content creation and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript.
• Implement website content, layout, navigation and perform routine performance improvements.
• Identify and fix front‑end issues, broken links and display inconsistencies.
• Create, schedule and publish posts, captions and visual assets across relevant social platforms.
• Monitor audience engagement, respond to comments and escalate issues when needed.
• Track website and social media metrics and propose practical optimisation recommendations.
• Coordinate with internal content and design teams to ensure brand consistency.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design and basic JavaScript.
• Experience with website content management systems and routine updates.
• Practical experience managing business social media accounts and content calendars.
• Copywriting, caption writing and basic proofreading abilities.
• Familiarity with social media analytics, engagement reporting and content optimisation.
• Understanding of basic SEO, web accessibility and digital branding.
