ACCA Trainee – Accounts, Audit or Costing

About the role

We are seeking an ACCA Trainee to join our Accounts, Audit or Costing department at Sami Pharmaceuticals Limited. The position is based at our factory and head office in Karachi and offers a one‑year fixed‑term contract with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior accountants and auditors in day‑to‑day financial recording and reporting.
• Support the costing team in analysing product costs and preparing cost reports.
• Participate in internal and external audit activities under supervision.
• Help develop and improve accounting and costing processes.
• Prepare basic journal entries, reconciliations and supporting documentation.

Required profile

• ACCA Part‑Qualified candidate.
• Recent graduate or fresh candidate with no current ACCA trainee employment.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop professional skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Karachi.

• Financial accounting knowledge.
• Audit procedures understanding.
• Cost accounting fundamentals.
