Accountant / Bookkeeper for UK Clients (Lahore)

About the role

We are looking for a capable Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our Lahore office and support UK‑based clients. The role involves end‑to‑end bookkeeping, preparation of draft financial statements and handling payroll and reconciliations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for UK clients.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Handle commission calculations, accruals and adjustments.
• Prepare monthly and year‑end financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
• Assist in management reporting and variance analysis.
• Prepare VAT returns in line with UK regulations.
• Process monthly payroll.
• Support month‑end / year‑end processes and liaise with senior accountants.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• ACCA or CA finalist.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably UK bookkeeping.
• Hands‑on experience with financial statement preparation.
• Good understanding of UK VAT and basic compliance requirements.
• Strong Excel skills for reconciliations, formulas and data handling.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
