Accountant - US Experience (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in US accounting standards to join a global software development leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location while supporting month‑end close, financial reporting, and tax compliance for US‑based entities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist with federal and state tax filings and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial planning and analysis.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience with month‑end close processes and account reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of US tax compliance requirements for corporate entities.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
