Accounting Associate – Karachi

About the role

Genius Accountancy, a London‑based firm serving UK small businesses and property investors, is expanding its Karachi office. We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting Associate to support the preparation of company accounts, tax returns and client bookkeeping on a full‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare company accounts and personal self‑assessment tax returns.
• Prepare and file VAT returns and handle CIS returns.
• Assist with payroll queries and maintain client bookkeeping records.
• Liaise with clients to ensure records are accurate and up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and high attention to detail.
• Analytical, organised and fluent in English communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency with bookkeeping software.

• Salary between PKR 100,000 and 150,000 per month (negotiable).
