Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Specialist to support our finance and operations team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales commission calculations, and financial reconciliations while ensuring accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and send customer invoices, track outstanding balances, follow up on overdue payments, and reconcile account discrepancies.
• Process vendor invoices, maintain vendor records, and ensure timely payments.
• Calculate and process sales commissions based on established compensation plans and maintain commission reports.
• Perform daily and monthly financial reconciliations, assist with month‑end closing, and maintain records in QuickBooks or similar systems.
• Use Salesforce to manage sales data, generate reports, and ensure data consistency across accounting systems and spreadsheets.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or accounts payable.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce for sales data management and reporting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or Bill.com.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
