Accounts Team Lead - International Clients

About the role

The Outsourced Expert is looking for an experienced accounting professional to lead a team delivering accounting services to international clients. The role focuses on client communication, understanding client requirements, handling queries and making sure deliverables meet agreed expectations and deadlines. It is a full-time position based in DHA Phase 6, Lahore.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for international clients, managing day-to-day communication, meetings, queries and follow-ups
• Understand client expectations, reporting needs, deadlines and instructions and communicate them clearly to the team
• Coordinate and oversee accounting work so that deliverables meet quality standards and agreed timelines
• Resolve client concerns and account queries, and proactively share progress or potential delays
• Review bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reports and month-end accounts for accuracy
• Supervise the Accounts team, allocate workloads, monitor performance and hold people accountable for client deliverables
• Build long-term client relationships, identify workflow improvements and keep clients satisfied

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 4-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an accounting firm or outsourced accounting environment
• Previous experience in a similar role with international client management, accounting delivery and team coordination
• Experience working with international clients, preferably from Australia
• Good understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, month-end closing and financial reporting
• Excellent spoken and written English; ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent qualification preferred
