AI Engineer – Commercial Insurance Automation

About the role

We are seeking an AI Engineer to develop and deploy AI‑driven solutions that automate commercial insurance workflows. You will join Aiden Risk’s AI‑first team, turning cutting‑edge language models into production‑ready features that handle submissions, renewals, endorsements, and more.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test and deploy AI‑powered features using large language models and modern AI frameworks.
• Develop prompt engineering strategies, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation pipelines, and agent‑based automation.
• Integrate AI models with internal tools and third‑party APIs.
• Create intelligent document‑processing pipelines for insurance submissions, policies, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.
• Implement backend services that support AI‑driven products and automations.
• Monitor model performance, improve accuracy, reliability and response quality.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prototype and ship new capabilities quickly.
• Research emerging AI tools, frameworks and best practices to continuously enhance the platform.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or software engineering with hands‑on AI development.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience building applications with LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases or AI agents.
• Proven ability to integrate APIs and develop backend services.
