AI Strategy Executive Officer

About the role

EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is hiring an AI Strategy Executive Officer in Karachi. The role drives the strategic development, governance and integration of artificial intelligence solutions, formulating AI strategies and roadmaps that align with business objectives and ensuring responsible AI practices across projects. It does not involve team management but requires close collaboration with other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI strategies and roadmaps aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
• Ensure AI governance policies are established and maintained to promote responsible and ethical AI use.
• Design and oversee data strategy and governance frameworks supporting AI initiatives.
• Manage the AI portfolio and product lifecycle, coordinating with business units to drive AI adoption.
• Use Python and machine learning and deep learning techniques to design, develop and optimize AI models.
• Maintain SQL and database management skills to keep data available, intact and accessible for AI projects.
• Analyze complex datasets to find opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with stakeholders so AI implementations meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
• Present AI concepts, progress reports and project outcomes to internal and external audiences.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and assist in troubleshooting AI systems, optimizing model performance and ensuring scalability.

Required profile

• Minimum of three years of experience.
• Strong foundation in computer science or a related field.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to develop data strategies and automate workflows.
• Effective communication and presentation skills to explain complex AI concepts to stakeholders.
