Architect - Residential Projects

About the role

Malik Brothers, a Lahore-based construction company delivering apartment and house projects, is looking for an Architect. The role covers designing practical, well-coordinated designs that meet client needs and site conditions, and supporting projects from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare architectural concepts, plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings for residential buildings.
• Turn project briefs and client requirements into functional layouts and design proposals.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, electrical, plumbing and other disciplines.
• Review site conditions and construction progress, spot design discrepancies and help resolve technical issues.
• Revise drawings and specifications after feedback, approvals and project changes.
• Support material selections, design presentations and project documentation.
• Work with project managers, consultants, contractors and clients to keep design quality and buildability high.

Required profile

• Detailed, organized professional who balances design quality with construction methods, schedules and budgets.
• Ability to manage several design tasks and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication with clients, consultants, project managers and site teams.

Required skills

• Architectural drafting and design software, especially AutoCAD; Revit, SketchUp or similar is an advantage.
• Reading and preparing plans, elevations, sections, construction details and architectural specifications.
• Understanding of residential planning, building materials, construction methods and coordination with structural and MEP disciplines.
• Strong spatial reasoning and careful attention to drawing accuracy, dimensions and revision control.

What we offer

• Monthly salary of PKR 80,000 to 100,000.
• Leave entitlement.
