Area Manager - Nawabshah

About the role

BAT is looking for an experienced Area Manager for its Nawabshah area in Pakistan. The role leads the area business end-to-end, driving sustainable volume and share growth through strong commercial execution, in line with company priorities and the growth agenda agreed with the Regional Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and drive the area operational plan in line with company priorities and the growth agenda.
• Drive route-to-market excellence, outlet coverage, product availability, assortment, visibility and quality execution.
• Coordinate implementation of brand and trade programmes developed by central teams.
• Build distributor capability and manage stock, coverage frequencies, claims, controls and commercial operations.
• Translate market, consumer and competitor insights into practical growth plans and actions.
• Lead, coach and develop frontline team members and resolve market issues with pace.
• Ensure strong governance, compliance, controls and accurate business reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant field.
• Experience in trade marketing, sales and distribution or field operations within the FMCG sector.
• Leadership, coaching and people-development capability.
• Ability to build and manage relationships with distributors, customers and external suppliers.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the area and work in diverse market conditions.
