Area Sales Manager – Medical Devices

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead sales, service, and application processes for our surgical business operations. You will be responsible for achieving targets across assigned accounts and product lines while driving growth in the healthcare market.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee sales, service, and application activities for surgical products.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and manage the team to meet organizational goals.
• Identify and capitalize on business opportunities by strengthening existing hospital relationships and establishing new connections with healthcare professionals.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular market updates and forecasts (monthly, quarterly, annually).
• Communicate product value propositions, highlight differentiators, and monitor performance metrics to suggest improvements.
• Negotiate contracts and drive successful outcomes with key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a pre‑medical background.
• 4–5 years of sales experience in medical devices, medical equipment, surgical disposables, or pharmaceuticals.
• Proven ability to manage customer accounts in the healthcare industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and strong knowledge of geographical locations.
