Area Sales Manager – Pakistan (Karachi)

About the role

JA Solar is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead its sales activities in Karachi, Pakistan. You will be responsible for driving growth of solar PV solutions, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring successful project delivery in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional sales targets and strategies aligned with headquarters.
• Identify, acquire and nurture new customers while expanding coverage of existing accounts.
• Negotiate contracts, manage forecasting, order fulfillment, delivery and payment collection.
• Coordinate with sales support to ensure timely order processing and shipment.
• Lead bids for local PV projects and promote JA Solar modules.
• Maintain market intelligence on competitors, regulations and customer needs.
• Work with government entities to secure module approvals and certifications.

Required profile

• Renewable‑energy experience is mandatory.
• Knowledge of the Pakistani PV market and a strong industry network.
• Understanding of project development and financing is a plus.
• Fluent English communication skills.
