Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager Finance

About the role

A business line is looking for a qualified finance professional to manage financial operations, reporting, analysis and budgeting. The ideal candidate has completed an articleship with a reputable audit firm, holds a CA or ACCA finalist qualification, and has prior experience in an IT company.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting, accounting operations and month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, financial forecasts and projections.
• Carry out financial analysis, profitability assessments and budget-versus-actual variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, expenses and cost optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Prepare management reports and give financial insights to support business decisions.
• Maintain internal financial controls and coordinate with external auditors.

Required profile

• CA or ACCA finalist.
• Completed articleship from a reputable audit or accounting firm.
• Prior experience in an IT company is mandatory.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/financial management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
