Assistant Manager - Operations & Programs

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support the Mashreq Global Network Pakistan Central Management Office in driving strategic programs, ensuring governance, and fostering cross‑functional collaboration. The role focuses on delivering program outcomes and enhancing employee engagement within the bank’s regional operations platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead internal and external resources to plan, execute, and monitor projects aligned with MGN Pakistan’s objectives.
• Maintain project documentation, KPIs, SLAs, and governance registers, reporting progress, risks, and benefits to senior leadership.
• Create and manage dashboards, trackers, and presentation materials for project reviews and governance meetings.
• Provide executive support to the Head of MGN Pakistan, including calendar management, travel coordination, and administrative priorities.
• Support risk mitigation by preparing regulatory risk reports and ensuring compliance with internal controls and the ORM framework.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Operations, Project Management or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience, with at least 5 years in program/project management or governance within financial services, consulting, or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of project management lifecycle, documentation standards, and governance processes.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
