About the role
The Assistant Manager Tax & Legal will work on client engagements to develop tax solutions, provide advice, and deliver compliance services for corporate and individual clients across various industries.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver top‑class tax services to a portfolio of corporate clients, including correspondence with revenue authorities.
- Research and prepare detailed technical tax memorandums to support advisory projects.
- Represent clients before FBR and provincial revenue authorities during assessments, audits, and tax proceedings.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulatory requirements and communicate impacts to clients.
Required profile
- CA qualified / part‑qualified, ACCA, ICMA, MBA Finance or related qualification.
- 5–6 years of experience in direct or indirect tax, preferably in a tax consultancy firm.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of Pakistani tax laws and regulations (Income Tax Ordinance, Sales Tax Acts, etc.).
- Ability to prepare technical tax memorandums and represent clients before tax authorities.
