Assistant Professor – Biomedical Engineering

About the role

The university seeks an Assistant Professor in Biomedical Engineering to join its academic staff. The successful candidate will contribute to high‑quality teaching, curriculum development, and research within a supportive, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve annual targets set by the Head of Department and Dean/Director.
• Deliver assigned courses in accordance with faculty workload policies.
• Develop learning materials, schemes of work, and maintain records of student progress, achievement, and attendance.
• Design module information packs, assignments, and examination questions; assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Continuously improve personal teaching and learning skills and participate in program planning.
• Employ innovative teaching strategies and facilitate experiential learning.
• Collaborate with academic colleagues and industry partners to maintain strong professional relationships.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field from an HEC‑recognized university/institution.
• Registration as a PEC Engineer.
• Publications in HEC‑recognized journals and relevant research experience.
