Assistant Warehouse Manager - Raw and Packaging Materials

About the role

The incumbent ensures the proper receipt, storage and issuance of raw and packaging materials in line with established procedures. The role manages warehouse operations for these materials, oversees warehouse staff and ensures compliance with GMP, GSP, GDP and EHS guidelines, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stakeholder relationships and oversee warehouse team performance.
• Ensure daily stock receipts follow approved SOPs and maintain accurate inventory with materials stored at designated locations.
• Carry out timely reconciliation of raw and packaging materials through the full picking and verification cycle, aligned with the daily production plan.
• Handle rejected and expired raw and packaging materials according to established procedures.
• Run day-to-day warehouse operations for raw materials and packaging materials.
• Ensure GMP, GSP, GDP and EHS compliance across all warehouse activities.

Required profile

• Pharm-D qualification.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of GMP, GSP, GDP, inventory control and warehouse management.
• Effective communication, stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
